Ivan Velez-Crespo

Ivan Velez-Crespo is a seasoned professional in risk analytics and credit risk management with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Director of Risk Analytics and Optimization at Truist since March 2015, Ivan leads a team focused on credit card portfolio management, overseeing the development of credit models and strategies throughout the product life cycle. Previously, at SunTrust, Ivan held the role of Credit Risk Manager, where responsibilities included managing account strategies for consumer and small business credit cards and facilitating the TSYS system conversion. Ivan's career began at Banco Santander, where significant contributions were made as a Risk Analyst and Project Manager, involving the design and implementation of risk strategies and management methodologies. Ivan Velez-Crespo holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
