Rebecca Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data governance and management. Currently serving as Vice President and Data Governance Lead Consultant at Truist since September 2019, Rebecca is integral to the Data Management Measurement and Reporting team, focusing on enterprise data governance and risk reporting. Previously, Rebecca held multiple roles at SunTrust, including Consumer Data and Analytics Manager, where leadership of analytics teams drove data quality initiatives. With a career beginning at SunTrust Bank, Rebecca has built a strong foundation in marketing, business analysis, and data processing, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Virginia.
