Luke Lukashunas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Luke began their career at Second Alarmers Rescue Squad in 1988 as an Assistant Engineer. From 1991 to 2000, they worked at Sears as a Region Manager, overseeing asset protection services. In 2000, Luke became the Chief Investigator at Strategic Information Associates LLC, providing private security services. In 2001, they took on the role of International Secretary at IAFCI. In 2002, Luke joined Rockledge Borough Police Department as a Police Detective, specializing in Special Investigations. Luke also served as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the Borough of Rockledge from 2015 to 2020. In 2000, Luke became the Vice President and Financial Intelligence & Security Services Director at TruMark Financial Credit Union. And from 2011 to present, they have been an Associate Staff Master Instructor for the FMSCA Drug Interdiction Assistance Program, training law enforcement personnel on commercial motor vehicle interdiction. Additionally, since 2017, Luke has been a Municipal Police Training Instructor at Montgomery County Community College.
Luke Lukashunas has a MicroDegree in Executive Leadership and another MicroDegree in Cyber Investigations and Intelligence from McAfee Institute. Luke also completed an Associate of Arts Degree Program in Accounting & Criminal Justice from Montgomery County Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree Program in Administration of Justice from Mountain State University. In addition to their formal education, Luke has obtained various certifications, including Building a Cybersecurity Awareness Program, Inside the Breach, Learning Secure Payments and PCI, and The Cybersecurity Threat Landscape from LinkedIn. Luke has also earned certifications such as Advanced Social Media Intelligence Gathering from McAfee Institute, Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator from Blockchain Intelligence Group, and Certified Economic Crime Forensic Examiner (CECFE) from NW3C.
