Heather Ferguson George

Heather Ferguson George is an accomplished professional in the field of optics and photonics, currently serving as the TRUMPF TruMicro Product Manager for the US at TRUMPF North America since August 2018. Previously, Heather was a PhD candidate and NSF Fellow at the University of Michigan, where research focused on electron dynamics in Titanium Nitride and InGaN nanowires. Heather has diverse teaching experience as a lecturer at Baker College, covering subjects related to photonics and laser systems, and has contributed to curriculum development as a consultant for the National Center for Optics and Photonics. Heather holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering: Optics and Photonics from the University of Michigan, along with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Murray State University.
