John Hernandez

John Hernandez is an experienced legal professional with a significant background in litigation, compliance, and corporate counsel roles. Currently serving as Director of Legal Outreach and Partnerships at Trupanion, John oversees marketing compliance and manages the trademark portfolio. Previously, as Director of Litigation Counsel at YETI, John handled a diverse litigation docket, including intellectual property and commercial matters, while advising on insurance coverage. At Rackspace, John managed global litigation, negotiated settlements, and led commercial transaction negotiations. Earlier, as an Associate Attorney at Norton Rose Fulbright, John represented clients in various legal actions, gaining extensive trial and pretrial experience. John holds a J.D. with honors and a B.A. in Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin.
