Simon Peacock

Simon Peacock has extensive experience in database development, management, and architecture, spanning over two decades. Simon began their career as a Consultant at Atos Origin, where they worked on various projects related to application support, configuration management, and client consultations for multiple business processes. Following that, they worked at GfK NOP as a Senior Developer and Consultant Database Developer. In 2012, they joined Mergermarket as a SQL Server Developer, responsible for developing ETL processes, database design and upgrade projects, and releasing OLTP database systems. After that, they worked at Betway Group as a Senior SQL Server Developer, Data Technical Lead, and finally became a Data Architect, responsible for developing data architecture and implementing policy standards. Currently, they hold the position of Data Architect at TruRating, where they are responsible for designing and implementing enterprise data models and managing the data architecture team.

Simon Peacock obtained a Bachelor of Mathematical Physics with Honors from the University of Sussex in 2000. Simon also holds several certifications from Microsoft, including Developing Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases, Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases, Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012, Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Database Developer 2008, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - SQL Server 2008 Database Development. In addition, they earned a certification in Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Microsoft Visual C#.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio.NET from Microsoft in 2006.
