Tanya Young Stump has had a diverse range of work experience over the years. Starting in 2009, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Door To Grace, where they focused on identifying and aiding sexually exploited and trafficked children. In this role, they led all aspects of the organization and implemented survivor and trauma informed corporate structures.
From 2010 to 2019, Tanya worked as a Senior Consultant at The Howells Group Plc. Tanya provided leadership and talent development consulting to corporate leaders, helping clients achieve grade level advancement through coaching and training. Tanya also delivered executive level and emerging leadership development training globally and maintained relationships with large clients such as Intel Corporation and Nike.
In 2019, Tanya joined Wayfair as the Head of Leadership and Talent Development - Global Consumer Sales. In this role, they shaped a high-performance culture and led critical talent initiatives, including change management and culture shift. Tanya also designed and implemented various development programs for leaders and high-potential employees.
Currently, Tanya is the Senior Director of Culture and Experience at Truss, a position they started in 2022. Tanya focuses on developing infrastructure and strategic programs to promote equitable opportunities for employees, fostering a workplace where people of all backgrounds can succeed and grow.
Tanya Young Stump's education history includes several executive certificates and a degree in Business Administration. In 2019, they attended MIT Sloan Executive Education and obtained an Executive Certificate in Data Driven Decision Making. The following year, in 2020, they pursued an Executive Certificate in Human Resources Management and Regulations from Oregon State University College of Business. In 2014, they also received an Executive Certificate in Building and Leading High Performing Teams from MIT Sloan Executive Education. Moreover, Tanya has a certificate in Advanced Conflict Management and Mediation from the Multnomah County Court System, which they obtained in 2016. Additionally, they studied Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership at Portland State University.
Furthermore, Tanya has achieved various certifications in their field. In 2017, they earned The Leadership Challenge - Executive Coach certification from Fine Points Professionals. Tanya obtained an Adult Learning Certificate from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2016. In 2014, they became a certified Strengths Finder Coach through CliftonStrengths. In 2012, Tanya acquired certifications in Advanced Dispute Resolution and Mediation from Genesis Mediation and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach certification from the Co-Active Training Institute in 2004.
