Mark van Seventer

Mark van Seventer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Mark is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at TrustCloud since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked at JW Player as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2019 to April 2020 and as a Software Engineer from December 2017 to June 2019. Mark also worked as a Software Development Engineer at Tesco PLC from October 2016 to July 2017.

Mark has a significant tenure at Kinvey as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2012 to April 2016. Kinvey is a cloud backend for web and mobile apps and was acquired by Progress in 2017.

Before that, they worked as the Owner of Markably from September 2011 to July 2014. Mark also worked at No Search BV as a PHP developer from July 2008 to December 2011. No Search BV is an online media company and was acquired by Sanoma Media in 2013.

Mark's career started with the founding of EuroSoccer, a football (soccer) website, where they created the website and portal allowing community-driven content. EuroSoccer was featured live on Dutch national radio and eventually sold in March 2006. This role lasted from October 2004 to March 2006.

Mark van Seventer attended VeenLanden College from 2000 to 2006, where they completed their University Preparatory School education. After this, they enrolled in Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2006 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. Mark continued their education at VU Amsterdam from 2009 to 2012, completing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science. In December 2010, Mark obtained a certification as a Zend Certified Engineer PHP 5.3 from Zend Technologies, Inc.
