Tianyi Evans Gu

Tianyi Evans Gu is a software engineer currently employed at MassEnergize since June 2023, where responsibilities include designing and deploying a mobile app for the MassEnergize Community Portal. Concurrently, Tianyi serves as managing editor and news associate editor at The Phillipian, which began in September 2022. In addition, Tianyi holds roles at Wolfram, including host of the Wolfram Student Podcast and student ambassador, while also participating as a teaching assistant in the Wolfram High School Summer Research Program from June 2023 to July 2024. Notable research projects include participation in the Wolfram Emerging Leaders Program and projects that resulted in published computational essays. Prior experience includes teaching and mentoring K-8 students in robotics and programming at Build A Robot K12 from May 2018 to August 2022. Tianyi's education includes attendance at Phillips Academy since September 2021, following earlier education at Summit Middle Charter School.
