Alex Lauerman

Alex Lauerman has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Alex founded TrustFoundry in 2014, where they worked as a Security Consultant and Founder. At TrustFoundry, they were responsible for advancing service offerings, managing a team, and consistently growing business. Alex also founded SECKC INC in 2011, a nonprofit organization focused on educating and improving the information security community in Kansas City. Prior to founding these organizations, they worked as a Senior Security Consultant at Veracode from 2013 to 2014, and at FishNet Security from 2007 to 2013, where they received awards for their outstanding performance. Before entering the field of information security, they worked in programming roles at GeoAccess and Ingenix.

Alex Lauerman graduated from The University of Kansas in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Burp Suite Certified Practitioner from PortSwigger in December 2021 and OSCP - Offensive Security Certified Professional from Offensive Security in 2010.
