Marquis Calmes began their career in 1999 as a Senior Network Engineer at First American Flood Data. During their tenure, they worked their way up from Desktop Support to managing and designing the Novell solutions for the network, and also supervised an internal support team responsible for over 400 end users. In 2008, they moved to GCS Technologies, Inc. where they held the roles of Vice President of Operations, General Manager, Director of Technology, and System Analyst. In 2019, they joined Trustgrid as Director of DevOps.
Marquis Calmes has a diverse educational background. Marquis earned a Bachelor of Science in Cloud and Systems Administration from Western Governors University in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained an Associates of Applied Science in Photographic Technology from Austin Community College in 2001. Marquis also attended American University from 1996 to 1997, studying International Studies.
