Vincenzo Acinapura

Vincenzo Acinapura is the Co-Founder and CTO of TrustLayer. Vincenzo has over 10 years of experience in the web development industry.

Vincenzo started their career as a web developer at Cayenne. Vincenzo then moved to Zodiak Active, where they worked as a senior web developer for seven months. After that, they worked as a web developer at Wasabi Digital & Visual for three months.

In 2009, Vincenzo joined Gild as a Lead Frontend Engineer. Vincenzo was responsible for the design and development of the platform APIs. Vincenzo also wrote all the backend and frontend code, and deployed the infrastructure using Chef and Capistrano. After working at Gild for two years, they became the Director of Technology at Eyeonplay.

At Eyeonplay, Vincenzo was in charge of the design, development, deployment, and testing of the entire web platform. This included a complex backend infrastructure, a JSON/REST API for the mobile iOS app, and the frontend. Vincenzo also wrote all the code for the backend and frontend.

In 2013, Vincenzo left Eyeonplay to start their own consultancy business. Vincenzo provided consultancy and development services for startups. In 2014, they rejoined Gild as their Director of Engineering. Vincenzo worked at Gild for four years before co-founding TrustLayer in 2018.

Vincenzo Acinapura has a Master's degree from Scuola Politecnica di Design SPD in Web, Internet, and Design from 2007-2008. Vincenzo also has a Laurea in Economia Aziendale from Università degli Studi di Bari in the field of Economics from 2002-2007.
