Karl Sigler

Karl Sigler is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security research and management. Currently serving as a Senior Security Research Manager at Trustwave since December 2013, Karl oversees the analysis of vulnerabilities, malware, and threat trends while managing the SLR threat intelligence database. Prior to Trustwave, Karl worked as a Senior Security Instructor at IBM Security Systems from February 2002 to December 2013, delivering security training to various stakeholders following IBM's acquisition of ISS. Earlier, Karl was a Security Services Manager at National Business Group, leading a team of engineers, and began the career as an Assistant Network Administrator at Brandywine CAD. Karl holds educational qualifications from New York University, completed between 1989 and 1991.
