John Aguilera has a varied work experience spanning several industries, including technology, hospitality, pharmaceuticals, and the military. John started their career as a Naval Aviator and served in the US Navy from 1989 to 1997, where they piloted several helicopters and managed maintenance technicians. John later worked as a Professional Sales Representative for The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from 1997 to 2000, where they managed 200 accounts and drove territory market share from 9th to 2nd of 10. John also worked as a Business Development Manager for e-Dr Network, Inc. in 2000 and helped establish a B2B e-commerce platform connecting over 8,500 optical professionals to 100+ suppliers. John then worked as a Regional Sales Manager for Prosoft Training from 2001 to 2002. In 2003, John founded Active Escapes, a profitable destination management company, which they sold in 2017 to a partner upon being recruited by ABC Fine Wine & Spirits. At ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, John served as the Divisional Director of Sales, Hospitality Sales, ABC Concierge Program, and exceeded the FY 2019 sales goals amidst a mid-stream quota increase of 56%, to $1 Million from $643,000. From 2012 to the present, John has served in the US Navy Reserves as the Executive Officer, Navy Reserve Tactical Operations Center Jacksonville, Naval Aviator. In December 2019, John became the VP of Business Development for TruTechnology, a Managed Service Provider of technology and consultancy services in Northeast Florida.

From 1985 to 1989, John Aguilera attended Boston University and earned a BSBA degree in Business Administration and Management, with a concentration in Finance.
