Nishant Gopalakrishnan

Nishant Gopalakrishnan is a Senior Software Engineer at Truveta, a position they started in January 2021. Prior to joining Truveta, they worked at Spacelabs Healthcare from May 2013 to January 2021 as a Software Technical Lead. At Spacelabs Healthcare, they were involved in research and development for ICU patient monitors, data analysis, machine learning, signal processing, algorithm development, CAPA's, and regulatory support. Nishant's earlier roles include working as a Physiological Model Developer at Medical Education Technologies Incorporated from March 2007 to June 2008, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Anesthesia Bioengineering Laboratory, University of Utah from August 2001 to November 2006. Additionally, they have experience as a Biomedical Engineer (Medical R&D) at Larsen & Toubro, Medical Equipment and Systems from December 2000 to July 2001.

Nishant Gopalakrishnan completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology from 1996 to 2000. Nishant then pursued further education and obtained their Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah from 2001 to 2006.
