Zac Rumford

Zac Rumford has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Zac is currently working as a Principal Software Development Engineer at Truveta since January 2023. Previously, Zac worked at Panopto for a significant part of their career. Zac held multiple roles at Panopto, including Principal Software Developer from October 2021 to January 2023 and Principal Director of Engineering, Panopto ANZ from December 2019 to October 2021. During their time at Panopto, Zac played key roles in various projects and initiatives such as distributed systems architecture, COGS savings initiatives, operational budget and projections, establishment of engineering presence in Australia, and implementation of SRE/Cloud Operations team. Prior to Panopto, Zac worked at Microsoft from 2005 to 2011, holding positions such as Senior Development Engineer and Software Design Engineer. Zac'scontributions at Microsoft included projects related to Windows, PlayReady DRM, and Silverlight technology.

Zac Rumford earned a HS Diploma from Sehome High School in 2001. During their time there, they focused their studies on AP Studies in Math, Physics, and English. In 2005, Zac obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Western Washington University.
