James Ings, CPA, CGA

James Ings, CPA, CGA has extensive work experience in the field of accounting. James currently serves as a Senior Controller at Trylon since March 2019. Prior to this, James worked as a Controller at HDT Automotive from November 2014 to March 2019.

Before joining HDT Automotive, James held the position of Cost Accounting Manager at Rockwell Automation from January 2008 to November 2014. In this role, they provided leadership to the cost accounting team and was responsible for Canadian operational and manufacturing reporting.

From an earlier period, James worked at Rockwell Automation Canada Ltd as a Senior Financial Analyst. During this time, they provided financial support to the Canadian Business leadership group, developed business unit reporting, and contributed to the annual budgeting process. James also performed financial verification for improvement projects and presented business results to executive management.

James began their accounting career as a Controller at Performance Polymers Inc from January 1998 to January 2002.

James then pursued further education at the Certified General Accountants Association from 1999 to 2002, obtaining their CGA designation in Accounting.
