Structural Engineer, E.I.T at Trylon

Navya Mallapureddy began their work experience as a Structural Engineer, E.I.T at Trylon in October 2021. Navya'sresponsibilities included reviewing the work of Junior Engineers for quality control, developing standard templates, and mentoring and training vendors.

Prior to that, Navya worked at Morrison Hershfield from October 2013 to February 2018. Navya initially started as a Structural Engineer before transitioning into the role of a Tower Designer, E.I.T in March 2018. During their time at Morrison Hershfield, Navya spearheaded over 30 rooftop sites for Freedom Mobile in the Alberta region, delivering installation drawings within the required timeframe. Navya also identified project problems and implemented corrective actions, as well as participated in workload forecast meetings. Additionally, Navya analyzed existing telecom towers, building rooftop mounts, and provided modification solutions for overstressed mount components according to industry codes. Navya prepared structural calculations and design solutions for overstressing members and connections using the RISA 3D program.

Overall, Navya has gained significant experience in structural engineering, design, and project management within the telecommunications industry.

Navya Mallapureddy has a Masters of Engineering (M.E.) degree in Civil Engineering / Structures from Andhra University. In 2021, they obtained their Professional Engineer in Ontario (PEO) certification, specializing in Civil Engineering. Navya also holds additional certifications such as AutoCAD 2018 2D from Leonardo College of Design, obtained in August 2018, and Working at Heights from Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA), obtained in March 2020. Currently, Navya is pursuing a CAPM degree from Noble Work Foundation, starting in 2022.
