Luis Barguñó Jané

Luis Barguñó Jané is a seasoned software engineer and NGO founder with extensive experience in the tech industry and social impact initiatives. Currently serving as a Founding Software Engineer at Relay since September 2021, Luis previously held various roles at Google from 2011 to 2021, including Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, contributing to projects like Device Location in Search and Google Drive Android APIs. As the founder and director of Ghana una sonrisa, an NGO established in 2006, Luis focuses on fundraising, development, and project execution while volunteering. Early career experiences include roles in organic food delivery at Mercat Local and green energy research at Boat Kers, as well as computer science research at INRIA and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Luis holds multiple degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
