Bernard Leung, P.Eng.

Bernard Leung, P.Eng. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Bernard started their career at ConocoPhillips as a Pipeline Survey Coordinator and then worked as a Production Engineer in different areas. Bernard later joined Devon Energy and served as a Production Engineer and a Leader in Production Projects Engineering. In 2018, Bernard co-founded db Air Quality Solutions Ltd., where they focused on spreading radon information and helping families improve air quality. Bernard then worked as the Vice President of Product Development & Operations at Trade | Venture Development Group Inc. In 2019, they became an Advisor for Strategic Development at BGES - Big Guns Energy Services Inc., conducting market intelligence and leading strategic initiatives. Bernard also served as the Director of Operations at Johnson Systems Inc., providing leadership in corporate operations. Currently, Bernard Leung is the Co-Founder and Head of Product Development at Viewgem, a mobile marketing platform for retail owners. Bernard will soon be joining TS-Nano as part of their Strategic Development team. Throughout their career, Bernard has demonstrated strong expertise in operations, strategic development, product development, and lean manufacturing.

Bernard Leung, P.Eng. began their education journey in 1997 at the University of Calgary, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering. Bernard successfully completed their degree in 2002. In 2015, Bernard attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and obtained a Lean Management Certificate in the field of study.

In 2022, Bernard enrolled at the University of Ottawa to pursue a Master of Engineering Management with a specialization in Engineering/Industrial Management. Bernard is expected to complete this program in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Bernard has obtained several certifications. In 2021, they received the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) credential from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. Bernard is also a Professional Engineer (PE) certified by The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Furthermore, they hold certifications as a Radon Measurement Professional and a Radon Mitigation Professional from the CANADIAN – NATIONAL RADON PROFICIENCY PROGRAM, although the specific dates of attainment are not provided.
