Tony Calenda has had a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Tony began their career in the US Air Force as a Geophysical Sciences Specialist and worked there for over 20 years. After leaving the military, they joined BAE Systems as a Field Engineer, where they worked for three years. Tony then moved on to AgCert, where they served as the Climate Change Programs Manager and Senior Technical Writer. Tony then worked for AES as a Climate Projects Technical Services Specialist before joining W2EUSA, Inc. as a Program Manager. Tony later became the Program Director at Biomass Energy Systems, Inc. and served in that role until 2012. Tony then worked as a Safety Specialist and Technical Consultant for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority before joining Clean and Green, Inc. as a Grants and Research Specialist. Most recently, they worked for Harris Corporation as a Senior System Integration Engineer, responsible for the integration and implementation of the FAA Nextgen weather system. Tony is currently employed as a Program Support and Site Survey Engineer at Telecommunication Support Services.
Tony Calenda completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2013 to 2014, they attended Barry University and obtained a Master's Degree in Administration. In the same year, they also received a Certification in Information Technology from Barry University. Prior to this, Tony attended Warner Southern Collage, where they earned a BA in Organizational Management. Additionally, they attended the Community College of the Air Force and obtained an AS in Scientific Analysis Technology. Lastly, Tony completed their high school education from Satellite High between 1977 and 1980, receiving a Diploma with a focus on Math, Science, Biology, and Chemistry.
