Robert Steffens

Robert Steffens has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Robert currently holds the position of Principal Design Engineer at TTI Floor Care North America, where they focus on expansion products and general design engineering. Prior to this, they worked at BISSELL Homecare, Inc. as a Lead Designer and a Mechanical Designer/Senior CAD Designer. Robert also gained experience as a Design Engineer at Dometic and a Designer at Pratt & Whitney. Robert's career started at Whirlpool Corporation, where they served as a Senior Designer and was involved in the development of conceptual designs, component designs, and management of large assemblies. Earlier in their career, they worked at Steelcase as a Design Engineer and at Rapid Line as a Designer, gaining valuable skills in sheet metal and injection molded components, as well as G-Code programming and shop scheduling.

Robert Steffens attended ITT from 1997 to 1999, where they studied CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician. Additionally, they pursued an Associates degree in Computer Science from Grand Rapids Community College from 1988 to 1990.
