Tim co-founded TTW Solutions with Angela in 2008 serving as Vice President & CIO. Tim drives the company’s growth and development through strategic leadership and a keen vision overseeing both business and technical operations. Tim manages existing contracts and develops new businesses by creating strategic partnerships, hiring the best talent for the job, and fueling innovative solutions to help current and potential customers solve their most critical business and IT challenges. Tim leads the company’s technical and process through innovation, industry best practices and quality standards, and passion to serve the customers and the American public.
Tim has more than 20 years of hands-on experience managing, leading, and implementing IT and business solutions in support of mission-critical IT systems that include the largest biometric database system in the world. Tim has a track record of optimizing cost-effective technologies and methodologies in implementing full lifecycle SDLC that includes requirements gathering, business analysis, software development, IT service delivery, production Operations and Maintenance (O&M), and IT program-related experience. Tim has extensive technical know-how and experience including Oracle database, data warehousing, and BI analytics technologies, Java J2EE development, Microsoft SQL Server, complex SQL programming and tuning, and waterfall, hybrid, and Agile methodologies. Tim has experience developing and implementing detailed current and future-state plans, experience with executing project plans while mitigating risks, delivering IT solutions within cost and schedule, and has a solid understanding of Project Management methodology and contract management concepts. Prior to co-founding the company, Tim worked for several large government contractors and businesses including SAIC, General Dynamics, and Fannie Mae. Throughout his career, Tim has supported customers from the following government agencies: the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Transportation (DOT), the Department of Commerce (DOC), and the Department of State (DOS).
Tim earned an M.S. in Information Systems & Technology from Johns Hopkins University (graduated with a GPA of 4.0/4.0) and a B.S. double major in Finance and International Business from the University of Maryland, College Park, Robert H. Smith School of Business School. Tim is an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP DBA). Tim participated and graduated from the 2017 U.S. Small Business Administration’s Emerging Leaders Program. Tim is an active member of the community, participates in charitable work, and is a member of several businesses, and technical and chamber organizations.
