Anh Truong

Anh Truong has extensive work experience in the field of machine learning and data science. Anh is currently employed at Tubi as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Prior to this role, they worked at Capital One, where they held the positions of Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Machine Learning Engineer from 2017 to 2021. Before joining Capital One, Anh worked at CEB as a Data Scientist, where they were involved in various projects such as topic categorization, information retrieval, recommendation systems, and member segmentation. Anh utilized a range of tools and technologies including Python, NLP, SQL Server, nltk, bs4, scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, scipy, Stanford NER, and pyspark. Anh also gained research experience as a PHD Student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, they completed research internships at Bosch North America and BlackBerry.

Anh Truong's education history began in 2000 when they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from HoChiMinh city University of Technology. They then pursued further studies and obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2009 and 2011. Anh Truong continued their academic journey at the same institution, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial Engineering, which they completed between 2011 and 2017.
