Kagan Turgut

Kagan Turgut has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kagan is currently working as a Software Engineer at Tubi since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr Staff Software Engineer at Conviva from January 2021 to February 2022, where they were involved in big data processing, performance engineering, and machine learning. From November 2019 to November 2020, Kagan worked as an ML Engineer at dotData, focusing on developing and enhancing the core AutoML engine. Kagan also has experience as a Principal Consultant at Brane Analytics / TIBCO - Data Science Platform, where they served as the lead architect for Tibco's flagship Data Science platform. Kagan also worked as a Sr. Enterprise Data Architect at Change Healthcare from October 2017 to September 2018, responsible for the architecture of the data platform and porting it to AWS. Kagan has held roles such as VP Technology at Oolong, Architect at Macys.com, Lead Architect at Cisco Systems, Consulting Software Architect at Brane Corporation, and Architect at TXE Systems, where they developed various software solutions and provided technical leadership.

Kagan Turgut obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University from 1988 to 1992. In addition, Kagan Turgut obtained a certification in Machine Learning from an online course authorized by Stanford University and offered through Coursera in December 2020.
