Shuling Ding has a diverse and extensive work experience in data analysis and management. Starting in 2007 as a Supply Chain Analyst Intern at 3M, Ding then moved on to work as a Pricing Scientist at PROS Revenue Management from 2008 to 2010. In this role, Ding built mathematical models and analyzed large datasets using SQL scripts. Next, Ding worked as a Senior Operations Research Analyst at MAXIMUS, where they optimized business processes and built forecasting and simulation models.
Following that, Ding joined Hotwire as a Senior Revenue Management Analyst, identifying pricing opportunities and designing pricing strategies using data mining techniques. Ding later became the Manager of Analytics/Pricing Optimization, where they led cross-functional analytical initiatives and designed pricing A/B tests. Ding also served as the Manager of Marketing Analytics, driving mobile marketing strategy and forecasting marketing programs.
In 2015, Ding joined Chegg Inc. as a Sr. Data Scientist, developing customer lifetime value models and utilizing predictive modeling to guide decision-making in various aspects of the business, product, and marketing domains. Ding then transitioned to Tubi, initially working as a Senior Data Scientist and eventually moving up to hold the positions of Manager and Director of Data Science.
Shuling Ding holds a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from The University of Texas at Austin. Shuling also has a Master's degree in Industrial system control from Tsinghua University. Additionally, Shuling has obtained several certifications including Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) from iPEC Coaching. Shuling is also a certified Yoga Teacher from Yoga To The People.
