Rodrigo Marchant

Rodrigo Marchant is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in IT leadership across various industries. Currently serving as Software Engineering Manager at Tucows since May 2021, Rodrigo previously held the position of IT Director at JetSMART Airlines, where an IT department was launched and an online sales channel was established in just 12 weeks. In prior roles at Cencosud S.A., Rodrigo directed e-commerce strategies and implemented advanced monitoring systems, significantly enhancing website performance. Rodrigo's early career at LAN Airlines included leadership as an IT Production Systems Manager and Chief Engineer, where innovative use of technology resulted in substantial cost savings and improved incident response. Rodrigo holds a Master of Engineering in Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
