Ryan S.

Ryan S. has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and development. Ryan is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Wavelo, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tucows for a significant period, starting in 2007. During their time at Tucows, they held various roles including Director of Engineering, Sr. Engineering Manager, Shared Services, Sr. Manager, Systems Integration, Manager, Software Engineering, Senior Software Developer/Team Lead, Senior Software Developer, Intermediate Software Developer, and Junior Software Developer. Before joining Tucows, Ryan was a Web Developer at DIBA International from June 2005 to December 2006.

Ryan S. attended Ryerson University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 2011, they attended George Brown College and received a Certificate in the Electronics Technician Program (with honours). Ryan also holds a certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, which they obtained in June 2023 from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
