María González Manso has a diverse work experience. María started their career in 2016 as an Ultrasound Researcher at the University of São Paulo. In 2017, they moved to Medtronic, where they worked in Marketing and business innovation until September 2018. María then joined Demium Startups as an Entrepreneur in Residence from August 2018 to January 2019. Currently, María is the CEO & Co-Founder of Tucuvi, a healthcare company focused on making healthcare accessible and efficient through their AI voice-based virtual care platform.
María González Manso completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2013 to 2017. In 2016 to 2017, they also studied at USP - Universidade de São Paulo for the same degree. In 2019, María attended the University of Lisbon for a program focused on Mobility and Active Ageing under EIT Health. During the same year, they completed a Master's degree in Usability and User Experience (UX) from Escuela de Organización Industrial. María further pursued their education by completing a Master's degree in Decision Making and Innovation from Universidad de Alcalá from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they also participated in a Citizen Bootcamp program at the University of Deusto and received training in Digital Business from Demium Academy. Additionally, María obtained certifications as a Nova member from Nova Talent in 2018 and became an Alumni of EIT Health.
