Sara Wingerath-Schlanger has a diverse work experience in nonprofit organizations. Sara began their career in 2004 as a Match Support Specialist at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mass Bay. Sara then joined Tuesday's Children in 2006, where they held roles such as Mentor Coordinator, Mentoring Director, and Program Director. In 2013, they became the Program Director at ArtWorks, The Naomi Cohain Foundation. Later on, in 2015, they became the Executive Director at Special Ops Survivors. Currently, Sara is serving as the Senior Program Director at Tuesday's Children since 2017.
Sara Wingerath-Schlanger received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Africana Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 2002. Sara then went on to obtain a Master of Public Administration degree with a focus on Non Profit Management from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School in 2004. In addition to their formal education, Sara has obtained certifications in Shane Snow on Storytelling from LinkedIn and Volunteer Administration from the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration. Sara also holds a certification in Mental Health First Aid from the Mental Health Association of Rockland.
