Mason Butner

Mason Butner is a Litigation Attorney at Tuggle Duggins P.A. since September 2023, following a role as a Legal Extern for the City of Charlotte earlier in 2023. Previously, Mason gained experience as a Summer Law Clerk at Tuggle Duggins P.A. and Cranfill Sumner LLP in 2022, as well as serving as a Staff Member at the First Amendment Law Review. Additional legal experience includes a Legal Intern position with Richard Daugherty, Attorney at Law, and a Research Assistant role at the University of North Carolina School of Law under Professor Maxine Eichner. Mason also holds internship experience from Wells Fargo in both 2018 and 2019. Mason earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2023, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020.
