Saman Faraj

Saman Faraj has extensive work experience in the field of data management and development. Saman started their career in 2004 as a Senior Oracle Analyst Programmer at SAIC Ltd, where they worked until 2007. Following that, they joined Mblox Ltd as a Deputy Enterprise Development Team Leader for a year. In 2008, Saman joined TUI and held various roles within the company. Saman started as a Senior Oracle Data Warehouse Developer and worked in this role until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Saman served as a Big Data Technical/Team Lead, focusing on continuous improvement and team management. Currently, they are a Delivery Lead for the MI Northern Region at TUI.

Saman Faraj holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computing and Mathematics from Coventry University, which was completed from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering at the University of Baghdad, Iraq, from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Saman Faraj has obtained various certifications in areas such as Six Sigma, Snowflake, ITIL Foundation Level, operations and leadership management, Python for Data Science, and AWS Big Data and Solutions Architect.
