Austin Childress

Austin Childress, PMP has a diverse work experience in project management and automation engineering. Austin is currently working as a Solutions Engineer at Tulip Interfaces since June 2022. Previously, they worked at NNE as an Automation Team Lead from November 2021 to June 2022, and as an Automation Consultant from November 2020 to October 2021. Before that, they were employed at Zenith Technologies as an Automation Engineer from June 2020 to November 2020. Austin also worked as a Project Manager at Mile High Labs from February 2020 to April 2020. Their earlier experience includes roles at Emerson, where they served as a PMO Project Engineer from February 2018 to February 2020, and as a Process Automation Engineer from May 2015 to February 2018. Before joining Emerson, Austin was an Application Engineer at Smith & Loveless Inc. from July 2014 to April 2015. Austin began their professional career as a Researcher at The University of Kansas, where they worked as a Tissue Engineering lab undergraduate research assistant from January 2013 to May 2014.

Austin Childress, PMP holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering which was obtained from the University of Kansas - School of Engineering. Austin attended the university from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their degree, Austin has also attained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2019.
