Amy Varner Stephens

Amy Varner Stephens has a strong background in library management and operations. Amy Varner began their career in 1995 as the Manager of Outreach Services at the Tulsa City-County Library, where they worked until 2007. During this time, they developed expertise in outreach programs and services. In 2007, Amy became the Manager of the Martin Regional Library, a busy regional library in East Tulsa. In this role, they oversaw the library's operations and was responsible for serving a diverse community. In 2013, they took on the position of Interim Area Regional Manager at the Tulsa City County Library System. Currently, Amy is holding the position of Director of Branch Operations at the Tulsa City-County Library.

Amy Varner Stephens completed their education from 1979 to 1985 at Northeastern State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their field of study during this time included Education and Library Media. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Library and Information Studies degree at the University of Oklahoma from 1987 to 1990, with a focus on Library and Information Studies.
