Director Of Communications at Tune Therapeutics

Glenn Murphy has worked in various roles since 2000. In 2000, they were an Assistant Language Teacher at the Ibaraki Board of Education in Japan, where they taught English language and culture classes at two prefectural high schools and was responsible for lesson planning, test prep, examination gradings, and cultural education activities. From 2003 to 2009, they were the Writer/Consultant of Murphy SciComm, the Operations Manager and Team Leader of the Interactive Galleries at the Science Museum Group, and the Founder/Chief Instructor of NC SYSTEMA, where they delivered high-impact resilience, self-development, and personal protection training in North Carolina and nationwide. Glenn also wrote and published over 26 popular science titles aimed at kids and adults, including two UK bestsellers, since translated into over 20 languages and published worldwide. In 2016, they became the Owner/Lead Instructor of StressProof. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Director of Communications of Tune Therapeutics.

Glenn Murphy has an extensive educational background. Glenn attended The Harvey Grammar School, Folkestone from 1987 to 1994 and obtained their High School degree. Glenn then went on to the University of Aberdeen, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Genetics from 1996 to 2000. Murphy furthered their education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Science Communication from Imperial College London from 2002 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications: Certified Red Team Thinker from Red Team Thinking® in June 2022, Foundations of Heart Rate Variability from HRVcourse.com in August 2018, and Systema Instructor from Russian Martial Art in August 2010.
