Zsofia Hajnik

VP of Product at Turbine

Zsofia Hajnik has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2012, they worked as an intern at the Permanent Mission of Hungary to the OSCE, the UN, and Other International Organizations. In 2013, they served as a research assistant in the Department of Economics at the University of Vienna.

In 2015, Zsofia took on the role of an IT-Project Management Intern at Accenture, followed by a position as a Consultant and Research Analyst at STAR Study Association Rotterdam School of Management. Zsofia then joined the Mack Institute for Innovation Management as a Student Research Fellow in 2016.

From 2017 to 2020, Zsofia worked at WeQ Global, first as a Junior Product Manager and later as a Product Manager of Machine Learning and Data Science. During this time, they gained expertise in machine learning and data science.

In 2019, Zsofia co-organized ML in Health, a machine learning community that aimed to provide professional support and promote collaborations in healthcare research.

In 2021, Zsofia was selected for the Next Generation Women Leaders 2021 program at McKinsey & Company. Zsofia received the NGWL award for their remarkable impact in different sectors through entrepreneurial projects and outstanding academic achievements. As part of the program, they attended an exclusive three-day workshop and had the opportunity to connect with key consultants and NGWL winners.

Currently, Zsofia holds the position of VP of Product at Turbine. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager for the same company, where they led the development of an artificial intelligence technology that enhances cancer drug discovery processes. Zsofia'srole involved leveraging machine learning algorithms to identify potential indicators and patient populations for specific interventions.

Zsofia Hajnik's education history begins in 2012 when they enrolled at the University of Vienna. Zsofia pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in IT-Management. Zsofia'sstudies continued until 2015 when they successfully completed their degree.

In 2015, Zsofia Hajnik advanced their education by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Business Information Management at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. The duration of their studies lasted until 2016.

Continuing their academic journey, Zsofia Hajnik joined The Wharton School in 2016 as a Master Exchange student. During this period, they focused on studying Predictive Analytics & Management of Technology. Zsofia'stime at The Wharton School lasted until 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Zsofia Hajnik obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In June 2017, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) through the Scrum Alliance. Additionally, they completed an Introduction to Python for Data Science course in June 2017 through DataCamp.

To further expand their knowledge base, Zsofia Hajnik pursued a Complete Python Bootcamp course from Udemy in June 2018. Zsofia'scommitment to continuous learning led their to earn a Big Data Analytics in Healthcare certification from Udacity in August 2019.
