Alvaro Blanco Volmer has extensive experience in the tourism sector, serving as the Consejero de Turismo de la Embajada de España en Berlín since September 1999, where responsibilities include planning and executing Spain's tourism promotion strategy in Germany and participating in various tourism associations. Previous roles include Subdirector General Adjunto de Conocimiento y Estudios Turísticos, Director de la Oficina Española de Turismo en Munich, and various leadership positions at the Ministry of Industry and Tourism. Early in their career, Alvaro worked in roles such as Jefe de Sección at Aena and in multiple capacities at Tourspain. Alvaro holds a Licenciado en Derecho from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master's in International Business Management from EOI Business School, in addition to attending an Airport Economics & Finance Symposium at the Polytechnic of Central London.
