Ömer Faruk Türkmen

Omer Faruk Turkmen is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as the Vice President of Quality and Certification at Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii since June 2010. With a progressive career path that includes roles as Structural Test Engineer, Chief Engineer, and Structural Test Engineering Manager, Omer has extensive experience in starting up structural test facilities, executing static and fatigue tests, and overseeing various engineering processes. Prior to this role, Omer worked as a Project Engineer at Voith Hydro, focusing on hydro power plant projects. Omer holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University, completed in 2007, and is proficient in software tools such as AeroPro and CAD, as well as various testing equipment and sensors.
