Gabrielle Schmidt

Gabrielle Schmidt is a qualified therapist and dedicated assessor currently employed at Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center since July 2022. Previously, Gabrielle served as an art therapy intern at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where responsibilities included leading art therapy groups for older adults with Alzheimer's disease or dementia. Gabrielle's earlier experience includes roles such as medical receptionist at JOHN R. JOSEPH, M.D., kitchen staff at Buddy's Pizza, overdose rescue trainer for the Americorps Community Training Program for Overdose Rescue, and grant department intern at Lighthouse of Oakland County. Gabrielle holds a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from Adler University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Oakland University.
