Catherine Barker

Catherine Barker is an experienced professional with a robust background in clinical research and project management. Currently serving as the Director at Turnstone Biologics since September 2016, Catherine has been deeply involved in an oncolytic virus platform, overseeing the first-in-human global phase 1 trials and managing the establishment of eight clinical sites across North America with a small team. Previously, Catherine worked as a Clinical Research Associate, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach in supporting clinical site teams. Prior to Turnstone Biologics, Catherine held various roles at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute from March 2000 to August 2016, including Program Manager and Clinical Research Coordinator.
