The Job

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead cross functional teams to develop world class and highly innovative electrification solutions across our business units to achieve Turntide’s mission and ensure project success. You will have a strong background in project or program management and be highly focused on successful program execution and delivery.

We’re looking for someone who has worked in a startup environment at a technology company, working on both hardware and software products. This is individual will work with diverse teams (engineering, product, operations, quality, manufacturing, sales, finance, leadership) to drive successful program execution and delivery and have a continuous improvement mindset. You will be a pro-active, assertive self-starter and a great problem solver who does not stop until you find a solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management and product development experience on both internal investment (R&D) and customer funded projects.
  • Lead and manage programs of various sizes through Turtide’s PLM process from ideation through to delivery and closure.
  • Effectively develop, manage, and monitor program scope, schedules, budgets, resources, quality, and risks.
  • Lead and support cross functional teams of engineers and supporting disciplines (e.g. Product, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance) throughout the program.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and facilitate program execution and delivery with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage programs using appropriate tools, documents, processes, and governance.
  • Proactively identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently to ensure programs are not disrupted or delayed.
  • Identify and react to change appropriately using change management processes.
  • Manage program risks and mitigation strategies throughout the life of the program.

The Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years in program management or relevant experience
  • PMP or equivalent project management qualification and experience using formal project management methodologies.
  • Experience managing cross functional teams to deliver technological products and programs.
  • Demonstrable excellent leadership, facilitation, and organizational skills with good attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient in key techniques to successfully manage a project (e.g. work breakdown structure, schedule, risk and issue management, financial and cost management, resource management and project control, dashboards, reporting etc.).
  • Proficient in using MS Project Professional and/or MS Project Online as well as other MS Office products.
  • The ability to work in a matrix organization and drive teams to deliver programs on time and within budget.

  • Experience managing hardware and software product development programs within a PLM framework.
  • Experience working with supply chain, quality, compliance, change control operations in a manufacturing environment.
