Marcus Dorstel

Marcus Dorstel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Marcus is currently working as the VP of Operations at Turquoise Health, where they are involved in building price transparent software for simplifying managed care. Prior to this, they worked at Augmedix, starting as an Operations Project Manager in July 2017 and progressing to become the Head of Analytics and Strategic Projects from January 2018 to January 2021. Marcus briefly served as the Head of Business Operations and Intelligence in January 2021. Before joining Augmedix, Marcus worked at Triage Consulting Group as a Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant from August 2012 to June 2017. Marcus started their career as a Marketing Intern at UCLA Athletics in August 2009 and has also served as a Social Media Intern at Voycer AG and an Intern & Graphic Designer at AdvantageTec, Inc.

Marcus Dorstel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business-Economics, German Language, and Environmental Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, Marcus attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München for a brief period, focusing on Business (BWL) and German Studies. In addition to their academic achievements, Marcus also received several certifications including a Certificate of Completion from Asana in October 2020, a Data Visualization certification from Vertabelo in October 2018, and a Six Sigma - White Belt certification from Six Sigma in April 2015.
