Adrian Smith, MPS, LCAT, is an experienced art therapist currently serving at Brooklyn Psychotherapy, LCSW, PC, since August 2022, where individual art therapy sessions are conducted for clients facing various mental health challenges. Prior experience includes providing individual and family art therapy at Heartshare Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and supporting families as an Art Therapist/Family Case Planner at HeartShare St. Vincent's Services. As an Art Therapy Intern at Boys Hope Girls Hope, Adrian facilitated art therapy groups for at-risk youth, and previously provided therapy for palliative care patients at RiverSpring Health. Adrian holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Professional Studies in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Social Justice at Union Theological Seminary. Prior military service includes a role as Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from December 2004 to December 2008.
