Karm-Ervin Jean began their work experience in 2006 as the Chairman and CEO of KAPUTEK, Corp, where they were responsible for the overall success of the company and made top-level managerial decisions. Karm-Ervin also served as a Real Estate Agent at AB Financial from 2008 to 2010. Starting in 2007, they worked as an Adjunct Professor and Math & Stat Tutor at Miami Dade College, teaching various math and statistics courses and assisting students with their homework. From 2014 to 2020, Karm-Ervin Jean held multiple roles at Broward College, including Online Adjunct Instructor, Adjunct Professor, and Math & Stat Tutor. Karm-Ervin joined Tutor.com in 2018 as a Statistics Tutor, and in 2020, they became an Adjunct Professor at Tallahassee Community College. Currently, they work as a Regulatory Analyst at the Agency for Health Care Administration.
Karm-Ervin Jean's education history begins with completing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics at Florida International University in 2009. Prior to that, they attended Miami Dade College from 2004 to 2005, where they studied Computer Engineering. In 2003, they obtained a Diploma in Web Site Design from Florida Career College. Before coming to the United States, they studied Civil Engineering at Université d'Etat d'Haïti from 1998 to 2001.
In 2015, Karm-Ervin Jean completed their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Statistics from Florida International University.
In addition to their formal education, Karm-Ervin Jean has obtained several certifications. In 2007, they became a Lifetime Certified Tutor and International member of the College Reading & Learning Association. In 2008, they obtained a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. In 2012, they obtained a certification in FIU Actuarial Sciences from Florida International University.
