Sebastián González Giraldo

Sebastián González Giraldo has a diverse work experience. Sebastián started their career as a Student Assistant at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2012. Sebastián then took on various roles at the university, including Teaching Assistant, Student Volunteer, and Young Researcher until 2014. In 2013, they became the President of the Asociación Colombiana de Ingenieros de Petróleos - Acipet, a role they held until 2014.

In 2015, Sebastián worked as an Engineering Intern at Pacific Rubiales Energy and as a Petroleum Engineer at Petrozones. Sebastián also joined TEAM Asesores as an Entrepreneur, providing support in the formation process of students in Media and Higher Education, as well as academic tutoring in exact sciences and English.

In 2015, they also worked as a Tutor at Tutor.com, and in 2016, they became a Physics Lecturer at CALENDA, where they taught Physics and conducted training sessions for good results in the SABER tests and University exams. Sebastián also worked as an Associate Teacher at Colegio Eugenia Ravasco, teaching Mathematics to secondary students and provided training for ICFES tests and Universidad Nacional.

Sebastián González Giraldo has acquired a range of skills and experiences in the education sector, as well as in the fields of petroleum engineering and research.

Sebastián González Giraldo completed their education at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia from 2010 to 2014. Sebastián obtained a degree in Ingeniero de Petróleos and also a Grado en Ingeniería with a field of study in Ingeniería del petróleo. Additionally, in June 2015, they obtained the Matrícula Profesional - Ingeniería de Petróleos certification from the Consejo Profesional de Ingeniería de Petróleos - CPIP.
