Sanchita Baitalik

Sanchita Baitalik has a diverse work experience that spans across various organizations. Sanchita currently works at Tutorialspoint as a Content Reviewer since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Post Doc fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from September 2019 to December 2020. Sanchita also worked as a Professor Assistant at Invertis University, Bareilly from August 2018 to August 2019. Their earlier experience includes working as a CSIR-Senior Research Fellow at CSIR-Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute, Kolkata, where their research focused on synthesis and characterizations of porous materials for catalysis and energy harvesting applications. Sanchita also has expertise in the preparation of oxide bonded macro porous SiC ceramics.

Sanchita Baitalik has a strong educational background in chemistry. Sanchita obtained their Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry with an Honours in Chemistry from Raja Narendra Lal Khan Women's College in the years 2006 to 2009. During this time, they also studied Physics and Mathematics as additional subjects. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from IIEST, Shibpur from 2009 to 2011. Sanchita further continued their education and enrolled at Jadavpur University for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry. Sanchita completed their first PhD in the field of Chemistry, specifically in the area of Materials Chemistry, at Jadavpur University from 2014 to 2018.
