John Failla

John Failla has a diverse work experience. John founded Pearl in 2015 and currently serves as the CEO. John also founded BirdDog Social Media in 2014 and worked as the founder until 2015. In 2014, they worked as a Sales Intern at Viggle Inc., where they were appointed team lead and helped generate leads for fortune 1000 companies. From 2011 to 2013, John worked as a Database Administrator at Tesoro Business Media LLC, where they researched and created a database of executive contacts. Additionally, they have experience as a Resident Camp Counselor at Cape Cod Sea Camps in 2012, and as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at Scarsdale Municipal Pool in 2011. Currently, they are the Founder-In-Residence at the University of Richmond - Robins School of Business since 2020.

John Failla attended Scarsdale High School from 2007 to 2011, where they received their high school diploma. John then enrolled at the University of Richmond in 2011 and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, majoring in Entrepreneurial Management. During their time at the University of Richmond, John also studied Management, with a focus on Entrepreneurial Management & Corporate Innovation, at the Robins School of Business. Additionally, in 2013, John attended Peking University for a short period, where they studied Mandarin Language & Chinese Culture.
