Holger Härtelt has extensive work experience in Human Resources and has held various leadership roles. Holger is currently the Head of Human Resources Operations at TÜV Rheinland Group, a position they have been in since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Regional Expert Compensation and Benefit Germany from January 2021 to August 2022.
From January 2020 to December 2020, Holger was the Global HR-Projectlead Restructuring at TÜV Rheinland Group, where they successfully led the restructuring of two business units, resulting in €35 million savings and a global reduction of approximately 500 employees. Holger also negotiated an interest balancing agreement and social plan in Germany for a workforce reduction.
Before joining TÜV Rheinland Group, Holger worked at Kennametal as the Personalleiter from May 2004 to October 2011. Holger also held the position of Personalleiter at Pfleiderer Holzwerkstoffe GmbH from May 2002 to July 2004.
Their early career includes a role as a Personalreferent at Quelle Versand AG from January 1997 to April 2002. Throughout their career, Holger has demonstrated expertise in various HR functions such as employee relations, collective agreements, compensation, benefits, and restructuring. Holger has also been involved in implementing HR systems and leading global HR projects.
Holger Härtelt completed a diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Personnel from Technische Universität Dresden, from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they pursued vocational training as an Electromechanic specializing in Maintenance and Repair, from 1985 to 1987.
