Rick Asahina

Rick Asahina has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Rick has served as the Senior Director of Business Development at TVU networks since November 2012. In October 2021, they became the Director of Board at the Hawaii Aloha Life Enrichment Association (NPO). Prior to these positions, Rick worked at Sony Professional Solutions Latin America as the Director of Marketing from April 2009 to October 2012, where they were responsible for product management and marketing for Sony's B2B product portfolio in the Latin America market. Rick also held a senior management role at Sony Corporation from April 1987 to April 2009, where they played a crucial role in launching the world's first 4K cinema projector and was responsible for product planning, global marketing, and new business model development. Rick has also held positions at Sony Hong Kong and Sony Hawaii, where they managed divisions and departments related to sales, channel management, and territory expansion.

Rick Asahina earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ritsumeikan University, completing their education from 1983 to 1987.
