Nathan Emory

Nathan Emory has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Nathan currently holds the position of Audiovisual Production Specialist at DISA, starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at TWD & Associates, Inc., where they served as a Multimedia Manager from June 2005 to January 2022. In this role, they had responsibilities such as photography for documenting event setups, official photography, and photography for archival and training purposes. Nathan also worked as a teleprompter operator for live and taped events. Additionally, Nathan served as an Event Productions Supervisor at TWD & Associates, Inc. from 2007 to 2016.

Before joining TWD & Associates, Inc., they were self-employed as a Wedding/Event Photographer from August 2003 to June 2005. Prior to that, they gained experience in general labor, carpentry, masonry, and heavy machine operation at Blue Ridge General Construction from August 2003 to June 2005.

Nathan began their career in the US Army as a Combat Photographer, serving from November 1997 to June 2002. During their time in the army, they documented the National Capital Region for the Joint Chiefs of Staff and worked as a photographer, videographer, technical director, and audio engineer at the United States Army Visual Information Center (AMVID).

Nathan Emory attended The New York Film Academy from 2002 to 2003, where they completed a One Year Directorship Program in Film/Cinema/Video Studies.
